Dr Barrie Tan is a President’s Scholar and a former Head of Department of Otolaryngology (ENT) at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH).
He has been widely recognised both locally and regionally for his ENT expertise and experiences.

Dr Barrie Tan is a well-regarded figure in the field of ENT, particularly in cochlear implant surgery. Over the course of his career, he has personally performed hundreds of cochlear implant procedures, earning a reputation as an experienced and sought-after surgeon in the field.
Motivated by a genuine commitment to patient well-being, Dr Barrie Tan founded the Barrie Tan ENT Clinic at Gleneagles Hospital to provide thoughtful, personalised and accurate care in a setting where patients feel heard and supported.
